Hours and Directions
The Lake Pontchartrain Basin Maritime Museum is one quarter mile south of the intersection of LA 1077 and LA 22 at the southern most corner of Main Street (LA 1077) and Mabel Drive, in Madisonville, Louisiana.
The Tchefuncte River Light House is currently closed for restoration. For more information concerning where it may be viewed from, click here.
The Museum is open Tuesday through Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, and Sunday 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The Museum is closed on Monday.
Admission is $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for children and seniors. Uniformed members of the armed forces are free. Call (985)845-9200 for group tour reservations.
