Enjoy small town charm, with all the comforts of a modern facility! The Lake Pontchartrain Basin Maritime Museum is pleased to announce the availability of our meeting and banquet rooms for your next business or social function. Located on the banks of the Tchefuncte River, the Maritime Museum is the perfect venue. The two spacious event rooms can be used together or separately depending on your needs. There is a wrap around covered exterior deck with seating, optional dance floor and ample parking. The museum offers 3,500 total square feet, and can accommodate groups of up to 350 people.
Off-site caterers are welcome and the catering kitchen features a full-size convection oven, stove and conventional oven, ice maker, and refrigerator. Daytime or evening hours are available seven days a week and our facility is handicap accessible.
For smaller events or an outside venue, visit the Maritime Museum dock and historic lightkeepers cottage on the Tchefuncte River, just east of the main museum buildings. The outdoor areas, including the dock, are available for an additional fee.

See our calendar of events to check for availability of the desired date for your event. The calendar is updated regularly; however, there may be an event or extenuating circumstance on dates not listed. Call the museum to verify your desired date.
Prices listed are for the first three hours of each event. Additional time requires an extra hourly fee. All events must end by 11:00pm.
Rental deposit is required to secure date requested and is half of rental fee. Damage and caterer deposits are due two weeks prior to event and are refundable based upon contract requirements.
