‘Port Works’ has another new sponsor!

IFFCBANO-forwebLPBMM would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to The International Freight Forwarders & Customs Brokers Association of New Orleans for being a sponsor for our upcoming exhibit: ‘Port Works’.

‘Port Works’ is an interactive exhibit that will feature self-guided activities for youth and families to explore the port through navigational markers, container cargo, and to receive our exclusive passport stamp.  More in depth programming through ‘Port Works’ is available for youth groups and scheduled field trips, which will include experts who have worked with the Port explaining the types of jobs they do, and an audio activity to identify ‘port sounds’. This program will be available for children K-2nd grade, scouts and church youth groups.  The ‘Port Works’ exhibit will allow us to target a younger audience, increasing our value to the community by expanding our educational opportunities for people of all ages.
