Children are the future, and in working with them, we are cultivating the foundation for tomorrow.  Kids will learn about the three ethics of permaculture: care of the earth, care of all people and fair share. Throughout the 1 week camp we’ll be doing painting, drawing, building, bouncing, dancing, LARPing (Live Action Role Playing), mask making, printmaking, video making, and temporary tattoos, medicine making, game playing and more fun activities that represent the ethics of permaculture!  This fortunate group of kids will bond as a community. Curious observation of their natural surroundings, resources, their own ideas – and those of their community, will guide them to cooperatively envision and build their own world – the way THEY want it to be.  Our goal is to create a space where children can form a deeper relationship and appreciation of the Tchefuncte River and Lake Pontchartrain Basin, and learn about opportunities where they can make a difference.  Family and friends are invited to the museum on the last day of camp to try out some homemade delicacies and check out what the campers have made and learned during the week!  Why is it the kids get to do all of the fun stuff?!  To register, email by
