Located at 133 Mabel Drive, Madisonville, Louisiana, the Lake Pontchartrain Basin Maritime Museum is one quarter mile south of the intersection of LA 1077 and LA 22 at the southernmost corner of Main Street (LA 1077) and Mabel Drive, in Madisonville, Louisiana.
The Tchefuncte River Lighthouse is currently closed for restoration.

Group Tours
Self-Guided Museum Group Visit

Self-guided visits are encouraged for groups that prefer to move through the galleries at their own pace. We recommend that you allow a minimum of 1 hour to view the galleries and films. No reservation is required prior to visit.
Guided Group Tour
$5 per person- no discounts available on guided tours
Guided visits are led by our museum volunteers who facilitate active participation during the tours. They will lead the tour and be on hand to answer additional questions. Please allow at least one hour to view the galleries with the tour guide. A minimum of fifteen (15) people in your group and two weeks’ advanced notice is required to book a guided tour.
