The 21st Annual Madisonville Wooden Boat Festival will feature extraordinary wooden and classic boats, great music, wonderful food, and fun for people of all ages. - Spectators aboard their wooden boats watch the exciting Quick n’ Dirty contest.
- Every year the toy boats custom built by the St. Tammany Woodworkers Guild to child specificiations were a huge hit.
- Sunday morning twenty-two teams will put the finishing touches on their boats and prepare their elaborate costumes for the Quick n’ Dirty Contest Parade, departing the Ball Field at 2:00 p.m. Will the boats float? Who will win? Come to the 2009 Wooden Boat Festival and find out!
