It’s going to be perfect weather for a festival in Madisonville! The 23rd Annual Wooden Boat Festival is this weekend October 13 & 14 from 10am-6pm each day on Water Street with the Ball Park staying open late for the bands to rock until 10pm on Saturday & 8pm on Sunday. There will be 100 wooden and classic boats on display in the Tchefuncte River and on land and wonderful food, arts and crafts, and entertainment.
The bands will be at the Ball Park (Main Street/Hwy 21)

Sunday 4:00 – 5:40 Bottoms Up
6:00 – 8:00 4 Unplugged
Also at the Ball Park, Children’s Village will provide a fantastic time for children as well as the Quick n’ Dirty Boat Building and contest. The always hilarious Quick n’ Dirty boat parade to the river wil be at 2pm on Sunday.

Senior Citizens – (over 65) $5.00
Uniformed servicemen and children under 12 – Free
There will be free parking near the museum and free shuttles from Stirling Properties (Belk by Target).
